At MEC , we not only promote healthy eating for our students, but also focus on delivering great tasting food
for them to enjoy and explore.
MEC offers a healthy, nutritious and delicious menu, which helps students develop, learn and perform at their
best.

Master Education Centre offers a safe and secure full-term basis boarding facility for boys and girls from Standard 4 (10 years of age) upwards.

We provide a home away from home, where a safe, secure and nurturing environment provides clear behavioural guidelines and the necessary structure to students of all ages.

Students learn to take care of their own personal space as well as contributing to the overall care of the house and equipment provided. Students are also expected to be tolerant towards others, helping and assisting where necessary.

Each dormitory room has a lockable wardrobe. Students are required to carry with them prescribed bedding linen and towels.

  Offer a wide range of fiction and non-fiction books, newspapers, periodicals, current journals, educational reports. Reading and research are key elements that MEC fosters in developing an inquisitive mind in our students.

• Music and Drama practise centre.

A qualified and highly-experienced School Nurse visits the school campus and is always on duty to assist with
medical problems.The school has special arrangements with nearby hospitals incase of any medical emergencies. We are located
approximately 10minutes drive from Kerugoya Level 4/5 District Hospital.

Security is a priority at Master Education Centre. There are security guards on duty night and day, both at the
main gate and patrolling the grounds. Guards are posted at the Boarding Hostel through-out the night. Strong
security lights have also been installed.
